Pigs get fat. They are valued for their ability to get fat. They are some of the most delicious fat animals in the entire cornucopia. Pigs are great at saving their fat and produce litters of piglets who will grow up to become just as fat as their parents.
People on the other hand? Their pocketbooks don't get fat. They are valued for slightly less than what they cost to employ and not a cent more. People are terrible at saving anything other than a few cents on top of gigantic debts. Their children will grow up to be as indebted as they are.
